Norma Eveline Grant

It is with sadness the family of Norma Eveline Grant, nee LaFond, announce her peaceful passing on June 1, 2021 at Afton Park Place in her 95th year.  She was the beloved wife of the late Donald (2009) and loving mother of the late Roy (2011).  She is survived by her son Ross Grant (Kim) of Sarnia and her daughter Ruth Hummel (Dale) of Cortland, New York and was the grandmother of Ken Grant (Laurie), Dave Grant, Adam Hummel, Terra Hummel and Rachael Wilson (Patrick) and great-grandmother of Alexander, Nola and Wyatt.  She was also predeceased by her brothers Leonard and Sherwood LaFond and sisters Lola Casey and Phyllis Russell. Norma volunteered with Lambton Seniors for several years and could be seen pinning poppies in November for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62. The family is very grateful for the exceptional care she received at Afton Park Place.  Cremation has taken place and sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or charity of choice.  A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the D.
