Patricia Joan Tilley

PATRICIA TILLEY          1933 – 2024     

May 19, 1933 – April 26, 2024.

Resting in the arms of Jesus, our beloved and cherished mother, grandmother (Nana), great-grandmother and sister, Patricia Joan (Cosman) Tilley, in her 91^st year, passed away at Vision Nursing Home Friday April 26, 2024. 

Pre-deceased by her husband Rev. Stephen Tilley (2016) and her son, Stephen Tilley (2020), she is survived by her children, Cathy (David) Dent, Chatham; Nancy (Rev. Ron) Pearce, Barrie; Rhonda (Chris) Bezaire, Fort Myers, Florida and daughter- in- law, Lynda Tilley, Georgetown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, three sisters: Suzanne Theriault, Rachael Hopper, Eileen McGee and brother-in-law, Murray Gilchrist, all of New Brunswick. 

Born in St. John, New Brunswick, Patricia has been a Sarnia resident since 1979. She graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough in 1960 and capably assisted her husband when they pastored churches in Barrie, Midland, Belleville and lastly, Family Church in Sarnia. In their retirement they served for 9 months at First Baptist Church, Petrolia where they endeared themselves to everyone. She was a long-time member of Devine Street Gospel Chapel, Sarnia. Most recently, Patricia was part of the community at Rosewood Village and Vision Nursing Home. 

The family invites friends to gather for a Celebration of Life, Saturday June 15^th, 2024, 2 p.m. at D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, (102N. Victoria St, Sarnia).   

Interment will be held Friday May 3^rd, 2024, 11 a.m. Lakeview Cemetery, 1016 Colborne Rd, Sarnia
