Ralph Taylor

At Marshall Gowland Manor on Friday, November 2, 2012, RALPH MORRIS TAYLOR, in his 100th year, passed away. He was the dear husband of the late Avis Louise (Lee) Taylor (2001) and loving father of Gail Dennis and husband Michael of Camlachie and Wayne Taylor of Windsor. Grandfather of Heather Stewart and husband Kevin and Brian Dennis and wife Cindy, great-grandfather of Sidney, Madeline, Jocelyn Stewart and Mariah, Aliya and Chase Dennis. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Flynn and brother Merton Taylor. He was a veteran of WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy. Ralph had retired after 45 years of service with Imperial Oil Ltd. He played the trumpet with the Royal Canadian Navy Band during the war and later the Sarnia Citizen's Band and the International Symphony Orchestra. He was an avid euker and cribbage player. Funeral services will be held from the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 6th at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Alzheimer's or the Canadian Diabetes Associations.
