Robert Junior (Bud) Dunford

October 5, 1932 – August 22, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Junior (Bud) Dunford on August 22, 2023.  He is survived by his wife Ilse, children Tom (Anna) Dunford, Mary Ann (Mark Van) McAuley, Eva (Wayne) McCormick, Brenda (Rob) Atmore and Terrie (Chris) Dewsbury.

Bud and Ilse were married for 69 years and have 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was a proud member of UA Local 663 for over 50 years.

The family would like to extend their gratitude with a special thank you to the Sarnia Palliative Care Team for their compassionate care of Bud, both at Bluewater Health – Palliative Care Unit and St. Joseph’s Hospice.  As was his wish, a funeral service will not be held.

The private family arrangements have been entrusted to DJ Robb Funeral Home, 102 Victoria Street N,, Sarnia, N7T 5W9.
