Robert Charles Hartley

We are saddened to announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Robert C. Hartley passed away May 30, 2026, at 90 years of age. Bob shared 69 wonderful years with his wife Marie, the love of his life. Together they shared many trips to Florida and built a lifetime of cherished memories.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union for 45 years, the Canadian Corps Branch#10, the Moose Lodge, Branch#1046, the Corunna Legion Branch#447 and the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association. Over the years he worked for KJE, Ontario Hydro, Curran Construction, Jack Carey and many more driving trucks in Sarnia area.

A hardworking man with a generous heart, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Bob loved his children and grandchildren deeply and brought joy to every gathering with his stories, jokes and sense of humour.

He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially bingo and scratch tickets.

Bob will be remembered for his kindness, laughter and love for his family. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
