Rod Leader

At Bluewater Health on Monday, December 31, 2018, Rodney “Rod” William Leader, age 53 of Sarnia, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving spouse and best friend of Shelley Best and dear son of Nancy Guggisberg (Tom). Rod’s positive influence and mentoring will be sadly missed by Katelyn and Jamie. Rod was employed at Clean Harbors for 30 plus years. He loved his hockey, golf, camping, travel and most of all the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was predeceased by his father George and brother Randy. A celebration of Rod’s life will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., N7T 5W9, Sarnia) on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial donations made to St. Joseph’s Hospice or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
