Ronald Alvin Scott

SCOTT, RONALD - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald "Ron" Alvin Scott age 67, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on Jan. 17, 2020 after a brief illness. He was the loving father to Chris Scott (Debra Milliken) and Ron Scott (Jennifer Tyndall). He was the cherished grandfather to Bradley (Melissa Stocum), Christen and Alannis Scott, great-grandfather to Anthony Stocum, Christopher and Tristen Scott-Stocum, Christopher Palen and Adrian Sands. He is also survived by his sisters Ruby Maitland, Dorothy Oates, brothers Larry and John Scott and sister-in-law Ann Scott. He was pre-deceased by his great-grandaughter Hailey Stocum (2012), Parents Stanley and Elva (Ferren) Scott, brothers Dan (2016), Jim (2007) and brother-in-law Larry Maitland (2011). He spent many years in the construction trade as a drywaller and taper and was a member of The Carpenters Union Local 1256. Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Bluewater Health or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9) on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 at 11:00 am.
