Russell James “Rusty” Hegadoren

25 December 1925 -31 March 2021

He is survived by his wife 74 years, Audrey Isabella (McInroy) Hegadoren of Sarnia. He was the father of Brent (Margaret Huisman) of Victoria, BC and Anne (Wayne Swanson) of Sarnia, grandfather of Eric Hegadoren and Kristy Mason (Cole Mason) and great grandfather of Daphne Mason. Rusty fondly remembered his ties to Hastings County and Deloro where he grew up. After serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a tail gunner in a Halifax Bomber he returned home to Deloro, married Audrey and raised their family.  He worked at Marmoraton Mining for many years, enjoyed fishing and hunting and many gatherings with his family. In later years they moved to Sarnia to be close to their daughter Anne. Donations to the Marmora Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion to honor his memory would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place and the interment will take place at Zion United Church Cemetery in Marmora. The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N.
