Shirley Geneva Parker

PARKER, SHIRLEY – It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of the sweet and sassy matriarch of our family, Shirley Parker, on Friday, October 4th, 2019. She was the dear wife of the late Stewart Parker (2000) and loving mother of Dianne (Jack) Fletcher and Dana Zylstra, grandmother of J.C., Andrea (Paul), Chad (Shey-Lynn), Todd (Kerry), Terra (Blaine), Brandi (Steve), Scott (Kendall), Lindsay (Jamie) and Holly (Jared). She is the beloved G.G. of Brennan, Presley, Tyler, Paige, Hannah, Hayden, Sophie, Brynne Geneva, Rylee, Carson, Dakota, Sophia, Sean, Andrew, Bryanna, Shawna and Reezon. She is also survived by sisters Ginny and Barb (Moe) brother Gary, daughter in law Kaethe and sister in law Phyllis. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her loving parents Beaulah and Irving, her son Stewart “Satch”, her son in law John, brothers Don, Vic, Jeff, Gord, Jerry and her sister Joyce.  Family meant the world to her, she was greatly loved by everyone and will be sincerely missed. Shirley’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her world and the bond she shared with her children was pure love. Cremation has taken place and a visitation of family and friends will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9 on Wednesday between the hours of 11:00 to 2:00 pm. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to a charity of choice.
