Stewart "Ray" Douglas

At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Saturday May 14, 2022 STEWART “RAY” DOUGLAS passed away at the age of 86 years.  Loving friend and husband of more than 60 yrs. to Lila (Smith) Douglas.  Loving father of Cindy (Terry) Broumpton, Gregory (Maureen) Douglas and Glenn (Mary Lane) Douglas.  Cherished grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Bonnie Siler and Marilyn (Cyril) Quinton.  Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret, a sister Joan and a brother Ken.    A small ceremony was held by the candle lit fireplace at St. Joseph’s Hospice where Ray’s favourite song “I did it my way” by Frank Sinatra accompanied his departure.  Cremation has taken place and at Ray’s request there will be no visitation. Special thanks to Dr. Crombeen and the nurses, staff and Dick from Bayhsore.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice.  Arrangements entrusted to the D. J.
