Thelma Edith Saar

Peacefully at Sumac Lodge in her 97th  year , Thelma Edith (nee McMullen) Saar, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Predeceased by her husband Melvin Saar (1997). Will be missed by her son Harry Saar and grand-daughter Katlyn Saar. Also survived by her sister Muriel O’ Bright, brother Ronald (Lucy) McMullen and sister in-laws; Ellen Saar  and Audrey McMullen. As well as her nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Predeceased  by her parents LaDora and Lester McMullen of Woodstock,  brothers; Howard, Donnie, Hughie McMullen, sister Glenna McMillan as well as sister in – law’s; Jean and Wanda McMullan and brother in-law’s Bill O’Bright and Lloyd Saar . A funeral service will be held at the D.J. ROBB Funeral Home & CREMATION CENTRE (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia) on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation on Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
