Vera Oblak

OBLAK, VERA - At Vision Nursing Home on Saturday, October 21, 2017, Vera (Kostic) Oblak, age 81 of Sarnia passed away with her two sons by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Tomislav “Tommy” Oblak (2016) and dear mother of Dragan Oblak (Susan) and Zvonko Oblak (Michele) of Sarnia, grandma of Justin (Lauren), Adam (Kimberley), Marty (Katie), Mila-Michelle and Kurtis, great-grandmother of Hunter, Cove, Gavin, David, Dash, Ever and Kody. Vera was born in Serbia and has been a Sarnia resident for the last 50 years. She had worked in the kitchen at the Drawbridge Inn and retired after 25 years of service. Private Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, N7T 5W9) on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the staff at Vision Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided to Vera.
