Wayne Giberson

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of WAYNE GIBERSON, age 72 of Petrolia and formerly of Sarnia on Sunday, August 7, 2016.  Lovingly remembered by step-daughters Brenda Brodimas and her husband George of Sarnia and Jill Arnold and her husband David of Bright’s Grove. Also sadly missed by his grandchildren; Lee, Alicia (Rick), Wayne (Rebecca), Britney (Chris) and Sam (Adam) and three great grandchildren; Jason, Mya and James. Also survived by his brother Earl Giberson. Predeceased by his parents Hilton and Eileen Giberson and brother Hilton Giberson. Wayne donated his endless time and efforts to many community organizations and events including being a founder of the Bluewater Anglers and Ducks Unlimited, Sarnia Chapter. Wayne was also a member of First Hussars C Squadron and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 68. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, August 11, 2016 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Private interment of ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre Ltd.
