William "Billy" John Burdett

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Billy” Burdett, age 79, announces his passing on Monday, November 20, 2017, at Bluewater Health Sarnia. Will be forever missed by his wife and best friend Linda (nee Sparks) Burdett. Loving father of Mark Burdett and Jason Burdett. Dear grandpa of Hannah Burdett. Survived by his siblings; Herb Burdett (Janet), Gary Burdett (Diana) and brother in-law’s; Steve Sparks (Joan), Tim Sparks (Brenda), Bruce Sparks, Pete Sparks (Joan). Wonderful uncle too many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Ernest (Sonny) Burdett (1989) and his mother Christina May (nee Field) Burdett (1984), brother Robert Burdett, sister’s; Helen, Gail, Carol, Edith and Betty and father and mother in-law Ross and Joyce Sparks. Bill retired from Imperial Oil after 27 years of service. He loved to boat, travel and enjoyed hockey and sports in general. Cremation has taken place. A  Celebration of Life will be held at the D.J. ROBB Funeral Home & CREMATION CENTRE (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia) on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family..
