Wilson Conrad Webber

It is with immense sorrow and shattered hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wilson Conrad Webber on Sept 7, 2026, at the age of 56. He will be profoundly missed by his daughter, Chloe Webber; his mother, Mary Jo Webber; his sister, Judy Lynne Lacroix (Jean); his nephews & niece, Mathieu, Rachelle, & Luc (Hannah); and his best friend Larry Lavoie (Sherry Lynn). He will also be missed by his good friend Ingrid Pederson, his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, work family, and neighbourhood family. He is now reunited with his soulmate, Tina Cortez. Predeceased by his father, Ron Webber; Aunt Myrra Webber, Uncle George Webber, Uncle Eddie Maure, & Uncle Jerry Marcoux.

Wilson was so incredibly proud of Chloe and all of her accomplishments. She was the light of his life and he loved her with every fiber of his being. He always looked forward to spending time with her, hearing about her latest adventures, watching her at her robotics competitions, and hearing her sing with her choir. They spent their time gaming (both on the computer and board games), watching movies, walking along the waterfront, and taking daytrips. He spoke of her often with his coworkers & others, keeping everyone up to date on her life and he couldn’t wait to see what other great things she was going to achieve.

He will be remembered for being a caring son & loving father, for his great capacity to love & forgive, for his kindness, his sense of humour, his dedication to his job & his customers, for his impeccable penmanship, and for being the best big ‘bother’ a little sister could ask for.

Wilson was a proud member of our Canadian Navy, completing basic training in Digby, NS, specializing in sonar, and was stationed in Shelburne, NS & Argentia, NL. After completing his 3-year service he returned to Sarnia briefly before moving to London where he drove limos for several years. He again returned to Sarnia where he worked briefly at Walmart before finding the job he loved, driving delivery trucks throughout Southwestern Ontario, for Sarnia Insulation Supply/Crossroads C & I Distributors. He was an avid gamer who loved music of all genres (his favourite being classic rock), movies (especially sci-fi and fantasy), classic cars, trying new foods, and long drives with no specific destination.

Special thanks to John and Danielle Guzi for providing us with water, tissues, & lots of hugs, and for helping to notify the family. We would also like to thank Dr. Mather and all of the first responders for their professionalism, kindness, and comforting words.

Cremation has taken place. A private ceremony will be held for close family. Extended family and friends are invited to join us for a memorial gathering at D.J. Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 102 Victoria St. North, Sarnia on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Please feel free to dress up in your Sunday best or come wearing your favourite band, gaming, Marvel, or fantasy graphic tee and comfortable pants.
